On October 28, Heritage Sinfonietta presents a special concert featuring an international symphony orchestra of 80 to 100 musicians from the Netherlands and Germany. Talented young musicians, students, and advanced amateur musicians perform alongside professional orchestra members under the direction of top conductor Mihkel Kütson. The program consists of three beloved masterpieces: Beethoven's Egmont Overture, Rachmaninoff's impressive Second Piano Concerto, and Dvořák's world-famous Symphony “From the New World.” The soloist is Dutch piano talent Abel Hox, who is rapidly developing into a sought-after concert pianist and will make his debut at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam in the 2026–2027 season. This concert demonstrates how music transcends boundaries and connects people.

The choir is celebrating its 100th anniversary and is performing this work for the 39th time in Roermond! Even in this time, this work holds great significance for a broad audience! The story is narrated about the final days of Jesus through an immersive evangelist, contemplative arias, and impressive choirs. A dramatic story of betrayal, sacrifice, suffering, hope, and comfort, themes more relevant than ever! Toonkunstkoor Roermond performs this together with the German Baroque orchestra Concerto Vivo and international soloists, all under the direction of conductor Pieter Cox.
